Friday September 6 - Saturday September 14 - Chattahoochee Mountain Fair in Clarkesville, GA


If you're looking for some family fun, don't miss the return of the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair in Clarkesville, GA. This year, they will be adding Hot Air Balloons to their long list of attractions! Other favorites include, the rodeo, livestock shows, Royal Legacy Circus, The Doc Magic Show, and the Iron Homestead Zoo. If all the exciting attractions weren’t enough to get your steps in, then don’t miss the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair 5k taking place Saturday,  September 7th at 8am. Fair Gates open on Friday, September 6th at 5pm!


Plus, from September 6-12 anyone under 42” gets in for FREE!.




Saturday September 7- Family Night at North Georgia Wildlife & Safari Park

Get ready for an unforgettable Family Night at NOGAWILD! Stroll through the Wildlife Park at your leisure and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Enjoy a special Meet and Greet with their Animal Ambassadors, who are excited to share their stories with you.



Plus, make sure to visit the petting farm to experience the joy of interacting with our adorable bouncing babies. It’s the perfect evening for animal lovers of all ages!

If you love Dolly, then head over to Demorest, GA! Katie Deal and her Nashville band will be celebrating country music legend, Dolly Parton! The show will be outdoors at Arrendale Amphitheatre at Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia. Gates open at 4pm. Make sure to come hungry as there will be plenty of food trucks! Proceeds from the event will support the Friends of the Arts fund, enriching the academic experience for Piedmont’s fine arts students. Buy tickets here!



Friday September 20- Saturday September 21  - Clermont Days 2024


Head to Downtown Clermont this year for their annual Clermont Days. A tradition the whole family looks forward to! Vendors will open September 20th at 4pm! Don’t miss the opening ceremony at 9am on the 21st. Enjoy a parade that morning at 10am, vendors and live music the entire day, and end your perfect Saturday with a firework show at 9pm. 




Sunday September 29 - 2024 Ellijay Bacon Fest


Get ready for the 3rd Annual Ellijay Bacon Fest, where bacon lovers can indulge in a variety of bacon-themed dishes while enjoying the scenic beauty of our river park in Ellijay! The event features live music, exciting games, and a diverse selection of food, arts, and crafts vendors. It’s a fun-filled day that also supports a great cause—benefiting The Gilmer Community Food Pantry.
