One recipe that has been a staple in the Ward family for generations is Sweet Potato Crunch, lovingly passed down from the kitchen of our beloved late grandmother, Connie Thomas.

Sweet Potato Crunch Recipe
Here’s how you can recreate this family treasure in your own kitchen.
Ingredients:
4 Cups of Sweet Potatoes (cooked)
1.5 Sticks Margarine
1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup of Chopped Nuts
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2 eggs
Instructions:
Pre Heat oven to 350 and gather two mixing bowls + casserole dish
Mix together sweet potatoes, 1 Stick of Margarine, Granulated Sugar, Vanilla, and Eggs. Place into a Casserole Dish.
Mix Brown Sugar, 1/2 Stick Margarine, Flour and Nuts. Cover Sweet Potato mixture with topping and Bake at 350 degrees for 30 Minutes.
